## Itinerary

### Day 1: Prague

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer. Evening Transfer to Old Town Square. Welcome to Prague! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.In the late afternoon, we will make our way to the Old Town Square. This central location provides a great introduction to Prague, full of energy and touristic activities. You can take your dinner at one of the restaurants offering international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel. Note: All mentioned hotels below are for your reference only, you might also check-in other same-level hotels.

### Day 2: Prague

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river. Today we will visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide an informative city tour, which will include outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a boat tour on the Vltava River. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to explore the city. In the evening, we will enjoy more time in the historic city center and there will be an opportunity for you to take dinner. Return to hotel.

### Day 3: Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Romantic trip through Germany. We will have an early departure from Prague and stop in PILSEN, in the region of West Bohemia, a city renowned for its beer. Time for a walk through its historic center where we find the Great Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column and a Renaissance-era town hall. We will then cross into Germany where we will follow a section of the so-called "Romantic Route". Next, we will visit ROTHEMBURG, a town that seems to come straight out of a fairy tale, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Afterwards, we will head to FRANKFURT. Arrival in the financial capital of Germany in late-afternoon. Free time in the historic city center where there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from (from Indian cuisine to Oriental, Italian, international and so on).

### Day 4: Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Rhine cruise included. Today we will take a small Cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR, undoubtedly the river's most picturesque section. After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense gothic cathedral. Then on to the Netherlands. Arriving to AMSTERDAM in the late afternoon.

### Day 5: Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Marken - Amsterdam

Distance traveled: 75 km Scenery: Beautiful Dutch landscapes, low houses, canals, and windmills. 8:00 a.m. : Departure from Amsterdam. 8:45 a.m .: Arrival at Zaanse Schans, a beautiful site featuring small houses, canals, traditional windmills, and a drawbridge; icons of the Dutch landscape that show us what life was like in the 18th century. Time to photograph the windmills and typical houses. 9:45 a.m . :Departure from Zaanse Schans. 10:15 a.m .: Arrival in Volendam, a very picturesque fishing village. Free time to walk around. 11:15 a.m .. Departure from Volendam. From there, we'll take a short boat ride to Marken. 12:00 p.m . :Arrival in Marken, an island now connected to the mainland by a fixed dike. Its houses were traditionally built on stilts. Free time to stroll through the village. 12:45 p.m .:Departure from Marken. 1:30 p.m . :Arrival in Amsterdam. Free time for lunch in the city center before starting our guided city tour (approximately two hours). We'll begin with a stop in front of the windmill and the Rembrandt statue, one of the most attractive windmills in the Netherlands. We'll then continue past the RAI Convention Center, traveling through the southern part of the city, the most exclusive area of Amsterdam. Next, we'll stop at Museum Square to learn about the diamond-cutting technique at the Diamond Museum. We'll then head toward the Amstel River, passing through the old Jewish Quarter with its Holocaust Memorial and the Portuguese Synagogue, then by the old harbor and the Maritime Museum. Finally, we'll arrive at Central Station, leave the bus, and walk to Saint Nicholas Church, in the heart of the city, where the tour ends. Free time to explore Amsterdam's famous canals, markets, and cafés.

### Day 6: Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris

Total distance covered: 525 km Scenery: Vast cultivated plains. Large cities along the route. 8:30 a.m. – Amsterdam – Departure. We travel toward Belgium. 11:30 a.m . – Brussels – Arrival. Capital of Belgium and home to the main European institutions, Brussels combines elegance with multiculturalism. We will admire its impressive Grand Place, a jewel of Flemish Baroque, and stroll past the symbolic Manneken Pis. This city blends history, chocolate, and modernity. 4:00 p.m . – Brussels – Departure. Journey toward France. 8:15 p.m. – Paris – Arrival.

### Day 7: Paris

Total distance covered: 80 km. 07:45 a.m. - Departure from Paris. 08:30 a.m. - Versailles. Arrival to the Palace of Versailles (tickets not included; please note that there may be long lines to enter due to the large number of visitors). This grand palace, once the residence of French kings, offers a fascinating glimpse into the culture and history of France. 11:30 a.m. - Departure from Versailles. Departure time may vary if there are delays entering the palace. Upon returning to Paris, we'll head to Montmartre, a bohemian artists' district where we can admire the Sacré Coeur Basilica and wander through its picturesque square and winding alleys. 03:00 p.m. - We'll start a two-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. This tour will take us to iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, the Tour Saint-Jacques, the City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Garden, Les Invalides, the École militaire, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine. We'll have brief stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we'll return to the hotel, with an optional stop in the city center for those who want to enjoy more free time in Paris. At the end of this enriching day, the guide will suggest an optional evening outing to a cabaret or variety show, such as the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin. Note: Due to the high volume of tourism in Paris, the order of the services offered in the city may vary.

### Day 8: Paris

08:30 a.m. - Departure from the hotel. We'll head to the Eiffel Tower, where tickets to the second floor are included (please note that there may be long waits due to the high number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an optimal altitude for seeing the city below (which is less visible from the third floor) and offers a better overall perspective compared to the first floor. From this vantage point, you can see up to 70 km on a clear day. After descending the tower, we'll enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris´ iconic monuments and bridges. This journey lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, you'll have some free time. Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

### Day 9: Paris - Beaune - Lyon

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne region. Funicular ride in Lyon. Today we travel to the center of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. Making a stop in SEMUR EN AUXOIS, a small medieval town listed surrounded by impressive walls. After this we will visit BEAUNE, located in the center of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Time for lunch. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the mid-afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône (its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site). We include a funicular climb to Notre Dame de Fourvière where we have a great view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to walk around. Note: Sometimes, due to events or congresses, accommodation may be provided in a city near Lyon (normally Chambery).

### Day 10: Lyon - Geneva - Neuchatel - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Scenic tour around the lakes and vineyards of Switzerland. A beautiful stage awaits us as we set off for Switzerland. Arrival in GENEVA. The guide will take us to the Palais des Nations (the European headquarters of the United Nations), the beautiful "Jardin Anglais" (with its quaint flower clock), and the "Jet d'Eau", the tallest fountain in Europe.After lunch, we will continue travelling through Switzerland by the beautiful Leman, Neuchatel and Biel lakes. We will drive the scenic road alongside the three large lakes, with their magnificent vineyards overlooking the mountains. We will stop in NEUCHATEL, where you can enjoy a walk by the lake, the historic town center or visit its beautiful, 10th century castle. We will then head to ZURICH. Arrival in the late afternoon. Note: depending on the number of passengers travelling from Geneva to Zürich, this part of the trip might be done by train - in which case, there will be no stop in Neuchatel.

### Day 11: Zurich - Rapperswil - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat trip across Zurich lake. Journey by train. We start the day with a stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, Zurich, the financial and cultural capital of the country. Zurich has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a trip on Zurich lake, this will last about two hours. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages along the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic center next to the lake, here you can dine at one of the many restaurants offering a wide range of different cuisines.

### Day 12: Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindelwald. Lunch included. Today's journey has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will stop in GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along the winding path which will lead us to the "footbridge over the empty". Dare to walk along the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will take lunch up the mountain (included) before heading back down. We continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In the evening we have time to stroll around, enjoying the city and taking dinner before we return to the hotel in Zurich.
