## Itinerary

### Day 1: Frankfurt

Welcome to Europe!!! Upon arriving at the airport we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. You can enjoy free time until your tour starts. Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area which have all the information about your upcoming services such as meeting place, time and the guide’s name. Note: All mentioned hotels below are for your reference only, you might also check-in other same-level hotels.

### Day 2: Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cochem - Cologne - Dortmund

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHT: Cruise on the Rhine. Romantic route. Today we will see the valleys of the Rhine and Mosel, two rivers loaded with history and sprinkled with charming villages. We take a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR, undoubtedly the most picturesque section of the river. Then we will go on to the river Mosel, and will have time for lunch in COCHEM, a very picturesque village on the bank of the river. We also discover the incredible Burg Eltz, a medieval castle surrounded by forests in the mountains. In the late afternoon we will arrive in COLOGNE, time for a stroll in the busy area of the cathedral before going on to our hotel in DUSSELDORF.

### Day 3: Dortmund - Fairytales Route - Hannover

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHT: Coal Mine Industrial Complex. A stroll in DUSSELDORF, a city on the banks of the Rhine and in the center of Germany's most industrial region. We continue to ZOLLVEREIN, which is one of the most important points on the "European route of industrial and heritage", where we visit its Coal Mine Industrial Complex, declared World Heritage. We proceed north bound, stopping in HAMELIN, a city made famous due to the Pied Piper. After following in the footsteps of the mice, we continue to HANNOVER, where we have time to visit the center of this thriving city.Note: On dates when there are trade fairs or congresses, the accommodation may be in a nearby town.

### Day 4: Hannover - Goslar - Quedlinburg - Berlin

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit to the beautiful village of Goslar. Free time at HANNOVER before continuing the route to GOSLAR; We are in one of the most beautiful villages of Germany, with its wooden architecture, its walls, its squares. Time to walk and have lunch. Continuation to BERLIN. Arrival in the afternoon. Free time.

### Day 5: Berlin

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Berlin. We visit the Holocaust Me­morial and the Berlin Wall Museum. Ease your way into the local culture with a guided tour of Germany's incredible capital, Berlin. We will visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the city's magnificent parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit can help us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced during the Twentieth Century. Free time to explore the city.

### Day 6: Berlin - Copenhagen

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Cruise from Germany to Denmark. Enjoy some free time in Berlin. At 11:30 am we will leave the German capital traveling north. In the city of ROSTOCK we board the ferry (scheduled departure at 3:30 pm). The crossing of the Baltic Sea towards Denmark will take almost two hours. Enjoy the cruise on this modern ship. After arriving in Denmark, we continue through pleasant landscapes before reaching COPENHAGEN at the end of the day.

### Day 7: Copenhagen

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit of Copenhagen. In the morning, comprehensive tour of the Danish capital with a local guide. Copenhagen is the largest Scandinavian city, and full of contrasts: the popular Tivoli, Christianborg Palace, the terraces of Nyhavn, the Mermaid. In the afternoon you can enjoy some leisure time.

### Day 8: Copenhagen - Helsingor - Jonkoping - Vadstena - Stokholm

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Ferry to Sweden, beautiful landscapes. We will leave and head towards HELSINGOR, the city of Hamlet, where the great Kronborg Castle stands. We continue by taking a small ferry to Sweden, around a 20-minute journey. We recommend you change currency on the ferry. We travel through beautiful landscapes with large lakes and lush forests until we reach JONKOPING. Time to explore and have lunch in this modern and small city located next to a large lake. We continue to MARIEFRED, a picturesque little town with its traditional houses, marina and castle, where we have time for stroll. Then on to STOCKHOLM, arriving at the end of the day.

### Day 9: Stockholm

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Stockholm sightseeing. Today we take a panoramic tour of this very beautiful capital city built on 13 islands joined together. We will see the Gamla Stand or the "City between the Bridges", the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Museum, alongside the main square of Stortorget, which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we will enjoy a pretty view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Then leisure time. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, we suggest a visit to the City Hall and to the Vasa museum.

### Day 10: Stockholm - Night on Ferry

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Ferry to Finland. Enjoy a free day of leisure in Stockholm. In the evening we will board a modern ferry traveling overnight to Finland, where accommodation will be in double cabins with private bathrooms.

### Day 11: Turku - Naantali - Helsinki

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Forests, lakes, pleasant landscapes. As we arrive in Finland, we recommend heading to the ship’s deck for sunrise to enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes as we sail past the Åland Islands, a collection of hundreds of forested islands. After disembarking the ferry, you’ll have time to explore TURKU, a city with a strong Swedish influence. We’ll then continue our journey to the neighboring city of NAANTALI, a picturesque town with charming wooden houses by the sea. Next, we travel to HELSINKI. After lunch, we´ll take a boat ride (regular public ferry) to Suomelinna Islands, home to the impressive fortress built to protect the city´s maritime entrance and UNESCO Heritage Site. You will have time to explore this unique group of islands, connected by small pedestrian bridges, and enjoy its atmosphere, fortress walls, and magnificient views over the Baltic. Afterwards, we´ll return to Helsinki by boat and transfer to the hotel. Note: In winter, to make the most of daylight hours, the visit to Suomenlinna islands will be on Friday morning.

### Day 12: Helsinki - Tallinn

Enjoy a free morning in Finland´s capital, whre you can discover some of the most charming spots of this modern, seaside city. In the afternoon, we’ll board a ferry to ESTONIA, a journey of about 2 hours and 30 minutes. We recommend taking in the the bautiful views of Helsinki and the surrounding islands as we depart. Arrival in TALLINN.

### Day 13: Tallinn

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: city tour of Tallinn. Tallinn, the capital of Estonia is a wonderful city with a well-conserved medieval center. We will enjoy a comprehensive tour of the city, its walls, churches, squares, and its medieval streets filled with tourist attractions. Free time during the afternoon.
