## Itinerary

### Day 1: Bucharest

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer to the hotel. City tour of Bucharest. Dinner included. Welcome to Bucharest. On arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel. Towards 1:00 pm, after lunch, we will take a panoramic tour of the city with its ancient quarter and the giant Parliament Palace. Free time and dinner included. Note: All mentioned hotels below are for your reference only, you might also check-in other same-level hotels.

### Day 2: Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Sighisoara

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT: Dracula's Castle. Transylvania region. Special dinner in Sighisoara. Today we have a journey with great scenic beauty, travelling to Transylvania across the Carpathian Mountains and through forests. In SINAIA, we will stroll through the gardens of the Peles and Pelisor Castles before going on to the 14th-century BRAN fortress, commonly known as Dracula's Castle (tickets included). Time for lunch, before continuing to SIGHISOARA, a very beautiful walled medieval city and UNESCO Heritage center. In the evening we will enjoy a very special dinner, in the restaurant of Count Dracula, at the house where Vlad Tepes was born.

### Day 3: Sighisoara - Biertan - Sibiu - Hunedoara - Timisoara -

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT: varied landscapes, small picturesque villages on route. In Transylvania there are numerous fortified churches in areas that were inhabited by people of German origin; some of these churches have been declared Heritage of Mankind, and we will see one of them, BIERTAN (tickets included). After this, we continue to SIBIU, an important economic and cultural center, previously the capital of Transylvania, with its bustling narrow streets and squares. Time for a stroll and take lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the impressive Castle of HUNEDOARA (tickets included), which is considered the prettiest castle in Romania. We continue to TIMISOARA, with time to explore its elegant central squares.

### Day 4: Timisoara - Belgrade

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT: Panoramic tour of Belgrade. Museum of Yugoslavia. We set off for SERBIA and the border pass. After a few hours travelling, we will arrive in BELGRADE. Here you can enjoy a panoramic tour of this active capital on the shores of the Danube as it flows into the Sava. We get the chance to admire its busy center, its parliament, and stroll in the Kalemegdan Fortress. A visit to the Museum of Yugoslavia, where Tito's Mausoleum is located, will also be included. Free afternoon.

### Day 5: Belgrade - Sremska Mitrovica - Republic of Srpska - Sarajevo

Distance traveled: 295 km Scenery: f orests, mountains, rushing rivers, and small towns. Strong contrasts mark our journey through Bosnia. Note: Keep your passport close to you, as we will cross the border into Bosnia. 08:00 a.m. – Belgrade. Departure. We begin our beautiful journey traveling to the region of Vojvodina. 09:15 a.m. – Sremska Mitrovica. Arrival in this city with a pleasant historic center on the banks of the Sava River. Once one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire, it served as the capital of the province of Pannonia. Entrance to the Imperial Palace of Sirmium is included, offering insights into this period. 10:30 a.m. – Departure from Sremska Mitrovica. We continue toward Bosnia, traveling through beautiful landscapes along the Drina River. Border crossing (delays are possible). Stop en route for lunch. The road continues across the Republic of Srpska—the Serbian Republic of Bosnia—passing through small villages, forests, and hills. 5:30 p.m. – Sarajevo. Arrival in the late afternoon. Time to explore the historic center, where you can stroll through the enchanting bazaar, the old Ottoman market known for its architecture, oriental atmosphere, and traditional shops. Dinner included.

### Day 6: Sarajevo - Mostar - Herzegovina - Dubrovnik Cavtat

Total distance traveled: 280 km Scenery: Spectacular landscapes with mountains, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, and picturesque villages. Arrival in Dubrovnik features stunning coastal views. Note: Please bring your passport, as we will be crossing into Croatia.In the morning, we'll enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Sarajevo, a captivating city known as the "Jerusalem of Europe" for its coexistence of multiple religions. Mosques, churches, and synagogues showcase its rich diversity. We'll explore the old town's strong Ottoman influence, highlighted by a magnificent 500-year-old mosque and a beautiful fountain. 11:15 a.m . – Sarajevo. Departure. We travel through breathtaking mountain and valley landscapes. 01:45 p.m. – Mostar. Free time to stroll and have lunch in this charming city, with its enchanting historic center and iconic stone bridge that unites and separates the Orthodox, Muslim, and Catholic communities. 4:30 p.m. – Mostar. Departure. We continue our journey across the rocky and mountainous landscapes of the historic region of Herzegovina toward Croatia. 7:30 p.m . – Dubrovnik/Cavtat. Arrival. Dinner included. Note: Depending on the date, accommodation may be in Dubrovnik or in Cavtat, a coastal town nearby.

### Day 7: Dubrovnik Cavtat

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT: Panoramic tour of Dubrovnik. Cable car ride. Dinner included. In the morning we enjoy a panoramic tour of DUBROVNIK with a local guide. We are undoubtedly in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, surrounded by walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea; its intact historic center is a jewel of world architectural heritage. The tour includes tickets to the Franciscan Monastery with the oldest pharmacy in Europe, and the Cathedral. We also take the cable car to give us a fantastic view of the city and the neighboring islands. You can then enjoy free time, returning to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner included. Note: Instead of Dubrovnik, accommodation could be provided in Cavtat, a coastal town near the city.

### Day 8: Dubrovnik - Kotor - Budva - Tirana

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful scenery of the Adriatic coast. Dinner included. We set off early for MONTENEGRO. The coastal scenery and the Bay of Kotor are beautiful. We enjoy a ferry to cross the bay. Arrive in KOTOR to enjoy some time strolling in this beautiful walled town with its strong Venetian influence. After this we stop in BUDVA, a marvelous walled village surrounded by the sea to enjoy lunch. Then we travel to ALBANIA. We arrive in the capital of the Albania, TIRANA, and enjoy some free time. Dinner included.

### Day 9: Tirana

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Panoramic tour of Tirana. Today we make a panoramic tour of TIRANA the capital of Albania, with its mosques, the clock tower and the ministries. End of our services. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night.
