## Itinerary

### Day 1: Stockholm

Welcome to Europe!!! Upon arriving at the airport we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. You can enjoy free time until your tour starts. Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area which have all the information about your upcoming services such as meeting place, time and the guide's name. Note: All mentioned hotels below are for your reference only, you might also check-in other same-level hotels.

### Day 2: Stockholm

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Sighseeing of Stokholm. We take a panoramic tour of this very beautiful capital city, built on 13 islands joined together. We will see the Gamla Stan or the "City Between the Bridges", the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings. Alongside the main square of Stortorget stands the Nobel Museum (which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes), the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. We can also enjoy a pretty view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Then free time, we recommend visiting the museums and parks. Another possibility is to visit to the City Hall and to the Vasa Museum.

### Day 3: Stockholm - Night on Ferry

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Ferry to Finland. Enjoy a free day of leisure in Stockholm. In the evening we will board a modern ferry traveling overnight to Finland, where accommodation will be in double cabins with private bathrooms.

### Day 4: Turku - Naantali - Helsinki

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Forests, lakes, pleasant landscapes. As we arrive in Finland, we recommend heading to the ship’s deck for sunrise to enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes as we sail past the Åland Islands, a collection of hundreds of forested islands. After disembarking the ferry, you’ll have time to explore TURKU, a city with a strong Swedish influence. We’ll then continue our journey to the neighboring city of NAANTALI, a picturesque town with charming wooden houses by the sea. Next, we travel to HELSINKI. After lunch, we´ll take a boat ride (regular public ferry) to Suomelinna Islands, home to the impressive fortress built to protect the city´s maritime entrance and UNESCO Heritage Site. You will have time to explore this unique group of islands, connected by small pedestrian bridges, and enjoy its atmosphere, fortress walls, and magnificient views over the Baltic. Afterwards, we´ll return to Helsinki by boat and transfer to the hotel. Note: In winter, to make the most of daylight hours, the visit to Suomenlinna islands will be on Friday morning.

### Day 5: Helsinki - Tallinn

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful landscapes by the sea on the way out of Helsinki. Enjoy a free morning in Finland´s capital, whre you can discover some of the most charming spots of this modern, seaside city. In the afternoon, we’ll board a ferry to ESTONIA, a journey of about 2 hours and 30 minutes. We recommend taking in the the bautiful views of Helsinki and the surrounding islands as we depart. Arrival in TALLINN.

### Day 6: Tallinn

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: city tour of Tallinn. Tallinn, the capital of Estonia is a wonderful city with a well-conserved medieval center. We will enjoy a comprehensive tour of the city, its walls, churches, squares, and its medieval streets filled with tourist attractions. Free time during the afternoon.

### Day 7: Tallinn - Parnu - Turaida - Sigulda - Salaspils - Riga

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: beautiful extensive landscapes covered with woods and small towns on the way. Turaida castle. Lunch included. Today we pass through forests and plains to reach PARNU, a popular spa city. We then travel on to Latvia. In TURAIDA we visit the medieval castle, surrounded by a large park with sculptures dedicated to Latvian Folklore. After lunch, included, we pay a visit to SIGULDA, the small and charming capital situated in a very beautiful landscape. We continue our journey, arriving to RIGA in the middle of the afternoon.

### Day 8: Riga

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Sightseeing in Riga. Salapsil Memorial. Enjoy a city tour of Riga, the capital city of Latvia and the most populated city from among the Baltic countries. The city is known not only for its cultural town center but, also, for its medieval old town, its Art Nouveau architecture and its well-preserved vestiges from the country´s time under the Soviet rule. We will include a quick transfer to the "Salapsil memorial", located in what was once a Nazi's Labor correctional camp. This is one of the largest memorial complexes in Europe built to commemorate the victims of Nazism. Free-time in the afternoon.

### Day 9: Riga - Rundale Palace - Hill of Crosses - Trakai - Vilnius

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Rundale palace, Hill of crosses, Trakai castle. Lunch included. We will depart for LITHUANIA early in the morning. On our way there, we will visit the BAROQUE PALACE OF RUNDALE, built by the same architect who designed Saint Petersburg's Hermitage Museum. We will cross over into Lithuania. This country has a strong Catholic influence, highlighted by the impressive HILL OF CROSSES, thousands of crosses of all sizes. Lunch included will be taken on route. Afterwards, we will visit TRAKAI, a gorgeous castle located on an island in a lake, close to Vilnius. Ending the day in VILNIUS. Note: Depending on the duration of sunlight, the visit to Trakai may take place on Wednesday after visiting the city.

### Day 10: Vilnius

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Sightseeing of Vilnius. Sightseeing tour of the city built on top of seven hills (like Rome, to which they like comparing it). In the city center, enjoy the Baroque churches, its walls, its castle, its market streets, and its 1,200 medieval houses. Free time in the afternoon.

### Day 11: Vilnius - Grutas Park - Augustow - Warsaw

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Grutas Park Today we continue to Poland. We will visit GRUTAS PARK, known as 'Stalin's World', a park with 86 statues from Soviet times. Lunch stop in the charming town of AUGUSTOW which is located next to a lake. We will continue to the centre of Poland. Arriving in WARSAW at the end of the day.

### Day 12: Warsaw - Poznan

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: sightseeing tour of Warsaw. We start the day with a sightseeing tour of Warsaw. We will visit its Old Town, Royal Castle, the Ghetto Heroes Monument, and Lazienki Park. Enjoy some free time afterwards, take lunch and stroll around. At about 3:00 pm we will leave for Pomerania. Reaching POZNAN, a very active city with a magnificent main square and great atmosphere. Take time to explore.

### Day 13: Poznan - Berlin

Our departure from Poznan to Berlin will be early in the morning. We will arrive to BERLIN, Germany, arrival around 11:30 am.

### Day 14: Berlin

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Berlin. We visit the Holocaust Me­morial and the Berlin Wall Museum. Ease your way into the local culture with a guided visit of Germany's incredible capital, Berlin. We shall visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gates and the city's magnificent parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This visit helps us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced during the Twentieth Century. Time to explore the city. Enjoy an evening in the lively area of Kantstrasse, a district that offers different types of ethnic restaurants to dine in (Indian, Oriental, Italian, German, and so on).

### Day 15: Berlin

After breakfast, we'll check out and end our grand tour of Scandinavia, the Baltics, Poland and Germany!
