Unlike standard circuit treks, this itinerary prioritizes "the golden hour," with strategically timed starts to ensure you are at the best vantage points for sunrise.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola, following the Budhi Gandaki River. As the landscape shifts from lush sub-tropical forests to alpine tundra, you will visit the village of Samagaun. Here, we take a detour to the Gyachung Peak Viewpoint, offering a stunning side-angle perspective of the Manaslu massif.
The highlight of the trek is the "High Camp Experience," where you will stay in remote settlements far from city lights, perfect for night-sky photography. The final challenge is the crossing of the Larkya La Pass (5,106m), where the sunrise reflects off the surrounding glaciers in a spectacular display of light and shadow.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu & Trek Briefing

Day 3: Trek to Jagat (1,340m) – Entry into Restricted Area
Day 4: Trek to Deng (1,860m)
Day 5: Trek to Namrung (2,630m) – First views of Manaslu
Day 6: Trek to Lho (3,180m) – Sunset views over the monastery
Day 7: Trek to Samagaun (3,530m)
Day 8: Excursion to Gyachung Peak Viewpoint & Acclimatization
Day 9: Trek to Samdo (3,860m) – Ancient Tibetan trade route
Day 10: Trek to Dharamsala (4,460m) – Preparation for the Pass
Day 11: Larkya La Pass (5,106m) & Descent to Bimthang (3,700m)
Day 12: Trek to Dharapani (1,860m)
Day 13: Drive from Dharapani to Besisahar & back to Kathmandu
