## About

Paragliding is one of the most thrilling adventure activities you can do in Pokhara. It offers a unique perspective of the region as you soar through the air with the help of a parachute-like canopy and harness. With the stunning natural beauty of the Himalayan mountain range as a backdrop, paragliding in Pokhara is an experience that you won't forget.
The paragliding flights are tandem, meaning you will fly with an experienced guide who will control the canopy while you enjoy the ride. The takeoff location is Sarangkot, a popular hill station just a short distance from Pokhara. From there, you'll glide through the sky for around 30 minutes, taking in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Phewa Lake, lush forests, and traditional Nepalese villages.
Paragliding is available year-round, but the best time to go is from September to November or from March to May when the weather conditions are most suitable for flying. The activity is suitable for anyone aged 18 and above, and no prior experience is required. Before takeoff, your guide will give you a briefing on safety procedures and the basics of paragliding.

Check-in and Preparation:
Arrival at Paragliding Office (30-60 minutes before flight time): Check in, complete paperwork, and meet your instructor.
Transfer to Sarangkot Takeoff Point (20-30 minutes): You'll be driven from the office to the Sarangkot hill, where most flights start.

Safety Briefing and Gear Up:
Safety Orientation and Gear Setup (15-20 minutes): Instructors provide a briefing on safety, flight procedures, and equip you with the necessary gear.

Flight Experience:
Flight Duration (20-60 minutes): The exact time depends on the chosen package and weather conditions. You’ll soar above Phewa Lake, Annapurna, and the scenic valleys below.

Landing and Wrap-Up:
Landing near Lakeside, Pokhara: Instructors guide you through a safe landing, typically near the lake.

Photo/Video Collection (10-15 minutes): Most companies offer a media package, so after landing, you can collect photos and videos of your flight.
Return Transfer: Transport back to the office is often included, wrapping up the experience.
