## About

Begin your trek in the lush foothills, where ancient rhododendron forests create a vibrant canopy. In spring, these trails burst into color with blooming reds, pinks, and whites, while moss-covered trees and filtered sunlight give the forest an almost mystical atmosphere.

Ascend gently along ridgelines rather than crowded valleys, offering continuous views and a sense of openness that distinguishes it from more traditional routes. As you climb higher, pass through remote Gurung settlements, where local culture remains deeply rooted in tradition.

These villages provide a glimpse into a slower, community-centered way of life—stone houses, terraced fields, and warm hospitality define the experience. Unlike commercialized trekking hubs, these stops feel personal and genuine, allowing meaningful interaction with locals.

The defining feature of this trek is its ridge-based route. Walk along narrow alpine spines, constantly surrounded by vast panoramas on both sides. The forest gradually thins into alpine scrub, and the air becomes crisper as you approach higher elevations. Each step brings you closer to the dramatic heart of the Annapurna range.

The journey culminates at Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m), a spectacular vantage point that rewards trekkers with breathtaking, close-up views of some of Nepal’s most iconic peaks. Towering directly ahead is the sacred, fishtail-shaped Machhapuchhre, alongside the massive faces of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. At sunrise, these Himalayan giants glow in golden hues, creating a moment of profound stillness and awe.
