Starting with a scenic drive to Pokhara, the journey gradually ascends through rhododendron forests, traditional villages, and alpine ridges. The highlight is the sunrise hike to Mardi Himal View Point and Base Camp, where dramatic panoramas of Machhapuchare, Annapurna South, and surrounding peaks await. The trek concludes with a relaxed descent and a scenic drive back to Kathmandu.


Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (816 m)

Begin your journey with a scenic 7–8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara via the Prithvi Highway. Enjoy views of terraced farmlands, traditional villages, rolling hills, and the Trishuli River along the way. Lunch is served en route. Upon arrival, settle into Pokhara, a relaxed lakeside city and the gateway to the Annapurna region. Overnight in Pokhara.


Day 02: Pokhara – Kande (1,770 m) – Trek to Australian Camp (2,060 m)

After breakfast, drive to Kande (1 hour / 30 km). Start your trek with a gentle uphill walk to Australian Camp. The 4 km hike (approx. 1.5 hours) passes through forest trails and open viewpoints, making it ideal for beginners. Enjoy panoramic mountain views and stay overnight at Australian Camp.


Day 03: Australian Camp to Rest Camp (2,550 m)

Wake early for sunrise views of Machhapuchare, Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu. Trek around 12 km through rhododendron forests, stopping for lunch at Pittam Deurali. Pass Forest Camp before reaching Rest Camp by late afternoon. Overnight at Rest Camp.


Day 04: Rest Camp to High Camp (3,580 m)

Trek 6.5 km through lush cloud forests filled with moss, orchids, and lichen. Enjoy views of the Modi Khola Valley and Annapurna Sanctuary as you ascend to High Camp via alpine ridges. Afternoon rest and acclimatization with close-up mountain views. Overnight at High Camp.


Day 05: High Camp – View Point – Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m) – Badal Danda (3,210 m)

Hike early to Mardi Himal View Point for a stunning sunrise. If conditions permit, continue to Mardi Himal Base Camp. Descend to High Camp, then continue to Badal Danda. The total trekking distance is approximately 14 km, the most scenic day of the trek. Overnight at Badal Danda.


Day 06: Badal Danda to Sidhing (1,800 m) – Drive to Pokhara

Descend 5.6 km to Sidhing Village through terraced fields and rural landscapes. Drive back to Pokhara (35 km / 2 hours). Free evening to relax or explore Lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.


Day 07: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu with a scenic drive through river valleys and countryside. Lunch en route. Arrival in Kathmandu marks the end of your 7-day Mardi Himal Trek with Pokhara.
