## About

Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking is a fairly easy trek and a very famous trek in the Annapurna region. This trek is considered as easy and recommended for first timers trekkers. It is sometimes referred as the short mini Annapurna circuit trek. This trek lies in the Annapurna foothills to the viewpoint in the Ghorepani. The route has the best lodging compared to any other trekking routes in Nepal.

It provides you the most eye catching Mountain View. The route has beautiful villages inhabited mostly by the Gurung tribe including the dense rhododendron forest with variety of birds. The trek starts from the Modi Khola River which is an hours drive from Pokhara. This trek is very famous for its sunrise Poon hill. Ghorepani Poon hill trekking is also known as Annapurna sunrise view trek.
