## About

Embark on a 10-day private guided trek through Nepal's Gokyo Valley, featuring a structured day-by-day itinerary with guided activities throughout.

Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m, 35 min). Trek with your guide to Phakding (2,610m, 3-4 hrs) along the Dudh Koshi River through Sagarmatha National Park.

Day 2: Guided trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m, 5-6 hrs). Cross suspension bridges and pass through Sherpa villages with your guide explaining local culture.

Day 3: Acclimatisation day in Namche Bazaar. Guided hike to the Everest View Hotel (3,880m, 3-4 hrs round trip) for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Visit the Sherpa Museum.

Day 4: Guided trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4,200m, 5-6 hrs). Walk through rhododendron forests with views of Thamserku and Kangtega peaks.

Day 5: Guided trek from Dole to Machhermo (4,470m, 4-5 hrs). Walk alongside the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in the Himalayas (36 km). Visit the Machhermo HRA post for altitude briefing.

Day 6: Guided trek from Machhermo to Gokyo village (4,790m, 4-5 hrs). Arrive at the sacred turquoise Gokyo Lakes fed by glacial meltwater. Explore the first and second Gokyo Lakes with your guide.

Day 7: Pre-dawn guided climb to Gokyo Ri summit (5,357m, 3-4 hrs round trip). Witness sunrise over four 8,000m peaks — Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Afternoon guided walk to the third Gokyo Lake. Your guide monitors health with a pulse oximeter throughout.

Day 8: Guided trek from Gokyo to Dole (4,200m, 5-6 hrs), descending back along the glacier valley.

Day 9: Guided trek from Dole to Namche Bazaar (3,440m, 5-6 hrs). Farewell dinner in Namche.

Day 10: Guided trek from Namche to Lukla (2,860m, 5-6 hrs). Fly back to Kathmandu.
