Begin your adventure with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), the gateway to the Everest region. Start trekking along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing famous suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags, and reach the riverside village of Phakding.
Continue your ascent through lush pine and rhododendron forests to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), the vibrant Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region. Enjoy spectacular mountain scenery along the way as you gradually gain altitude.
Spend a full day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar. Explore the local market, visit the Sherpa Museum, hike to the Everest View Hotel, and enjoy your first panoramic view of Mount Everest, along with Lhotse and Ama Dablam.
Resume trekking through beautiful forest trails to reach Tengboche Monastery (3,860m), the spiritual heart of the Khumbu. Enjoy breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, and Thamserku, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this iconic monastery.
Descend through rivers and small Sherpa villages before ascending into the alpine valley of Dingboche (4,410m). Spend a rest and acclimatization day here with a short hike to Nagarjun Hill, offering stunning views of Island Peak, Makalu, and the surrounding Himalayas.
Follow the trail alongside the Khumbu Glacier, passing memorials dedicated to legendary Everest climbers as you trek to Lobuche (4,940m). The dramatic landscape marks your entry into high-altitude terrain.
Hike to the legendary Everest Base Camp (5,364m), standing beneath the Khumbu Icefall and taking photos at the iconic Everest Base Camp rock. Return to Gorakshep for the night.
Early the next morning, climb to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the best sunrise view of Mount Everest, offering unmatched close-up views of Everest, Nuptse, and the Khumbu Glacier. Descend to Pheriche for overnight rest.
