**Category:** City Tour
**Location:** Kathmandu, Nepal
**Duration:** 5 hours
**Price:** from USD 126.81 per participant

## About

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu. Head to Bouddha Stupa, where you’ll be accompanied by an English-speaking guide. As evening descends, take part in the sacred kora (circumambulation), walking clockwise around the stupa alongside monks, nuns, and devoted pilgrims. Watch as thousands of butter lamps (choemey) illuminate the courtyard, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere beneath fluttering prayer flags.

Next, move to Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated along the holy Bagmati River. Explore the area with a priest, who will explain the Aarti process and the cremation rituals that happen side by side. This experience offers a profound insight into ancient Hindu traditions and the deeper meaning of life itself.

As evening sets in, the temple transforms into a captivating scene filled with glowing oil lamps, rhythmic chants, and deeply moving rituals during the evening Aarti ceremony—an experience that is truly unforgettable.
