# Kathmandu: 7-Days Langtang Valley Trek

**Meeting point:** Begin your trek from Syabrubesi, a small village north of Kathmandu. Enjoy a gentle walk through lush forests on the first day. As you ascend, watch the landscape change dramatically. Reach Langtang village, a traditional Tamang settlement. Experience the local culture and hospitality in a village that was heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake but has since been rebuilt. Continue the trek to Kyanjin Gompa, the highest point of the journey. Take in breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and other peaks. Visit the ancient Kyanjin Monastery or hike to nearby viewpoints for panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains. Encounter a variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered red panda.
