Embark on a classic Himalayan adventure with a trek to Annapurna Base Camp, one of the world’s most rewarding trekking experiences. Begin your journey in Pokhara, a 30-minute flight or 6–8 hour drive from Kathmandu, and make your way to the starting point in Nayapul or Phedi.

Set off on a scenic trail through lush forests, rivers, suspension bridges, and traditional Gurung villages. Immerse yourself in rural Nepalese life and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals. Stay overnight in tea houses with basic rooms and meals, offering a unique glimpse into the local culture.

As you ascend, take in breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, including Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), with its dramatic snowy peaks and icy ridges. Experience the thrill of staying overnight at Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.

This trek is best experienced in spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) for clear skies and pleasant temperatures (15–20°C at lower elevations). Note that monsoon (June–August) and winter (December–February) are not recommended for average trekkers.

This moderate to challenging trek requires physical preparation due to steep ascents/descents and altitude considerations. Permits required: ACAP (NPR 3000) and TIMS (NPR 3000 non-SAARC / NPR 1000 SAARC). A passport copy with 6-month validity is also required.
