7-Day Mardi Himal Trek with Barang Homestay

Day 1: Arrival at Barang Village (1,450 m)
Arrive at Barang Homestay and enjoy a warm welcome with traditional meals. Explore the village and nearby spots, take a short sunset walk, and hike to the river for a refreshing swim between two rivers.
Overnight at Barang Homestay.

Day 2: Exploring Barang Village (1,450 m)
Participate in farming activities, help villagers with goats and buffaloes, and walk through the jungle. Learn to cook Nepali dishes, visit the elementary school to teach English, and enjoy a Nepali traditional dress photoshoot. Optional mini hike to hidden viewpoints for mountain vistas.
Overnight at Barang Homestay.

Day 3: Barang Village → Australian Camp → Pothana → Deurali (2,100 m)
Drive to Kande, then trek via Australian Camp and Pothana (~4–5 hr, 10 km). Enjoy panoramic views of Machapuchare and Annapurna South.
Overnight at Deurali.

Day 4: Deurali → Forest Camp (2,600 m)
Trek ~6 hr (8 km) through rhododendron forests and streams. Spot flora and fauna, discover secret photo spots, and acclimatise.
Overnight at Forest Camp.

Day 5: Forest Camp → High Camp (3,550 m)
Trek ~6.5 hr (+1.5 hr acclimatisation hike) via Rest Camp → Low Camp → Badal Danda → High Camp. Enjoy Annapurna panoramas and unique natural features. Overnight at High Camp.

Day 6: Mardi Himal View Point & Base Camp → Badal Danda (3,210 m)
Early morning trek to View Point (4,200 m) and Base Camp (4,300 m), then descend (~8–9 hr, 12 km) to Badal Danda. Perfect for sunrise photography with epic mountain panoramas.
Overnight at Badal Danda Lodge.

Day 7: Badal Danda → Low Camp → Siding → Pokhara (820 m)
Trek ~4 hr to Low Camp, then drive ~2.5 hr to Pokhara. Reflect on the trek, enjoy scenic views, and farewell moments.
Overnight at Pokhara Hotel/Lakeside Stay.
