Our house is located 30min/11km drive from airport, 7min walk up from Budhanilkantha Temple (with Lying Bishnu Statue), at foothills of Shivapuri National Park entrance. It's a quiet residential area with fresh air and plenty of water.  It has great views of Kathmandu Valley and surrounding hills. There are various hiking possibilities (short/ long) from here incl. sightseeing places. ATMs, bus stop, taxi stands, restaurants, supermarkets and other local shops are nearby (5-7min walk).
